Soft and Rigid Integrated Durable Coating for Large-Scale Deicing

Abstract: Soft silicone has been widely used for anti-icing coating, but the ice adhesion strength is usually scaled with the iced area at a relatively large thickness. On the other hand, a thin rigid poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) film could be independent of the iced area and was named a low-interfacial-toughness material.
