Images are produced from the best available original document. it was to review the current status of sodium components technology, recommend those areas in which work was required by industry, formulate requests for proposals in these areas, and monitor the progress of subsequent AEC contracts for this work. Closely following establishment of the Working Group, it was necessary to establish the Sodium Components Development Program Contractor Selection Board, which was charged with the responsibility of evaluating proposals for component development and related work and recommending contractors to be assigned responsibility in these areas.The Sodium Component Development Working Group has been continuously active since its establishment in 1957 in fulfilling those commitments to the AEC for which it was originally established. A total of 38 meetings had been held up to July 1, 1965. Five of these meetings (three in the last three years) were information meetings with a broad attendance by domestic and foreign workers in the field of liquid-metals technology.The information meetings are one of the many ways in which the SCDP fulfills its commitment to coordinate and to foster the exchange of sodium components technology. Of the 38 meetings, 26 involved the direct review Table 1 shows the total membership throughout this period and records attendance at all meetings. Table 2 lists the names of all alternates and others who attended meetings of the group. Table 3 indicates the industrial organizations involved in the program and the component development program on which they worked. Also listed are the meetings at which the industrial contracts were discussed. Table 4 gives the date and location of the Working Group meetings, with an indication of the type of meeting (information, executive, contractor review), and specifies the contractors whose work was reviewed at each meeting.
