Sociological Analysis Of Working Women's Perspective On Alternative Medicine

Abstract

Sağlık-hastalık söz konusu olduğunda modern tıp her zaman ilk akla gelen seçenek olmuştur. Hastalıkların tedavisinde modern tıbbın gösterdiği başarılar ona sarsılmaz bir hâkimiyet sağlamış olsa da bedene müdahaleci yapısı, ilaçların insan bedenine verdiği zararlar ve bazı hastalıkların tedavisinde görülen başarısızlık insanların modern tıbba olan güvenlerinin sarsılmasına yol açmıştır. Bu noktada daha zararsız olduğu düşünülen alternatif tıp, sağlıklı olma ve hastalıkların tedavisinde gittikçe daha çok tercih edilen ve popüler olan bir alan olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Günümüzde özellikle kadınların daha çok ilgisini çeken alternatif tıp ve uygulamaları modern tıbbın yanında destekleyici ve tamamlayıcı olarak yerini almakta ve kendisine gittikçe büyüyen bir pazar payı yaratmaktadır. Bu makale günümüzde popülerliği artan ve hastalıkları tedavi etme ve sağlıklı olmak konusunda tamamlayıcı yaklaşımlar sunan alternatif tıbba, çalışan kadınların bakış açısını ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır.
