Sociodemographic and obstetric history in maternal self-efficacy in nursing: a study in panel

Abstract

RESUMOObjetivo: Analisar a associação das médias dos escores da escala de autoeficácia da amamentação -versão abreviada (BSEF-SF) com variáveis sociodemográficas e obstétricas. Métodos: Estudo quantitativo, longitudinal do tipo painel, desenvolvido em seis Unidades Básicas de Saúde da Família do município de Pacatuba-CE, com 50 mulheres. Utilizou-se a BSES-SF e os formulários sobre pré-natal e puerpério. Realizouse análise descritiva e inferencial, com testes de comparação de médias (t de Student/teste de Wilcoxon). Resultados:Houve significância estatística entre a maioria das variáveis sociodemográficas e as médias dos escores da BSES-SF no pré-natal e no pós-parto (p<0,05) e pôde-se encontrar diferença estatística com as médias dos escores da BSES-SF no pré-natal e no pós-parto (p<0,05). Conclusão: Verificou-se aumento significativo nas médias dos escores da BSES-SF no puérperio, evidenciando maior autoeficácia da mulher em amamentar e a necessidade de atuação dos profissionais da ESF junto à puérpera-nutriz objetivando aumentar a prevalência do aleitamento materno.

Breastfeeding self-efficacy among blind mothers

Assessment of maternal self-efficacy in breastfeeding in the immediate puerperium
