Socio-Scientific Inquiry-Based Learning as a Means toward Environmental Citizenship

Abstract: This paper draws on the meta-theory of Critical Realism providing a theoretical basis for the pedagogical approach of Socio-Scientific Inquiry-Based Learning (SSIBL) in supporting Education for Environmental Citizenship (EEC).
