Social speech summarization

Abstract

This study proposes a method for automatically summarizing video speech transcripts by using social tags and the maximum marginal relevance (MMR) model. An extrinsic, experimental evaluation of the proposed method indicated that it outperformed the mechanical method in summary making tasks.
