O artigo investiga os vínculos afetivos construídos através da escuta radiofônica por brasileiros em condição de diáspora. Parte-se do conceito de rádio expandido e da sociologia do afeto para se discutir em que medida essa audiência diaspórica constrói sentido para a escuta, num processo de afirmação identitária, de (re)conexão com a língua pátria e também de negociação para se inserir numa outra cultura. O percurso da pesquisa inclui análise qualitativa de 20 entrevistas semiestruturadas feitas com brasileiros que vivem em Barcelona, buscando compreender como constroem sentido para a comunicação sonora e em que medida o rádio expandido oferece um entre-lugar para o migrante.

ResumenEn esta investigación utilizamos un método cualitativo con el objetivo de entender los procesos de cambio que han emergido acerca del sentido de comunidad en personas de origen latinoamericano en Málaga. A través del desarrollo de entrevistas a 30 participantes detectamos dos bloques temáticos "Comunidades múltiples" y "Elementos que conforman el sentido de comunidad", que explican el sentido de comunidad. Los participantes del estudio fueron reclutados a través de procedimientos informales y muestreo de bola de nieve. En la mayoría de los casos, el discurso de los participantes mostró que el sentido de comunidad de este colectivo estaba estrechamente vinculado a las relaciones sociales y a la participación en diferentes grupos formales e informales. Mostramos las implicaciones de la participación y las TIC en torno al sentido de comunidad, evidenciándose la necesidad de políticas orientadas a la convivencia intercultural. AbstractThis study applied qualitative methodology to investigate changes of the Sense of Community in Latin Americans in Malaga (Spain). 30 participants underwent interviews. Two thematic blocks were detected: "Multiple Communities" and "Elements that comprise the Sense of Community". These blocks explain the Sense of Community. The study participants were recruited through informal procedures and snowball sampling. In most cases, the discourse of the participants showed that the Sense of Community of this collective was closely linked to social relationships and participation in different formal and informal groups.The results shows the implication of participation and the ICTs' impact on the Sense of Community, demonstrating the need for policies that promote intercultural coexistence.
