“Soar” or “Sore”

Abstract: The study examines the factors affecting the performances of the Indian banking sector, especially after the global financial crisis. The sample constitutes a total of 33 scheduled commercial banks (SCBs) that were operative in India during the period extending from 2002 to 2016 by employing a panel data model.
