Abstract: The discovery of extreme strontium isotope anomalies (μ 84Sr) in refractory leachates from Allende fine-grained calcium-aluminum-rich inclusions (CAIs) is at odds with long-standing predictions regarding the homogenization of presolar components in the CAI-forming region.
