Modern advancement in communication technologies has resulted in the widely and increase in use of smartphones such as android, blackberry, iPhones and much more. The proliferation of smartphones raises much security issues. This is so because the security features of such devices are limited. The most novel approach to arrest the security challenges in the smartphone is cryptography and steganography. Cryptography concerns itself with the masking of the content of a secret message whereas steganography deals with the concealment or hiding of a secreted message from the unauthorized person. The system proposed in this study uses a cover object, image specifically to hide the message to be sent. Before a message is embedded in the image, the message is first encrypted using RSA encryption algorithm. After the message has been encrypted, the process of embedding or hiding the message in the image is carried on. Least Significant Bit (LSB) technique is used to embed the message into the video. The performance Analysis was carried out using Peak-Signal-to -Noise-Ratio (PSNR). The results show that high security and robustness is achieved in smartphones when cryptography is combined with steganography.

Mobile phone provides accessibility of information to its user. Mobile phone with Android operating system have been dominated the market world-wide but is lack of security. The security flaw which was found is that this peticular mobile phone is susceptible against malware and other threat such as hacking. Because of this issue, this research goal is to develop an application that capable of secure any information in form of file which is stored inside the user's mobile phone. This application is using Blowfish algorithm that popular because of its reliability and minimum time-rate consumption in its processes. This peticular application is implement in mobile phone that using Kitkat version of Android operating system and capable of securing any file format which decresing Android's security issue.Keywords: Android, Android Kitkat, Blowfish Algorithm, Mobile Phone, Security AbstrakPonsel mampu memberikan keleluasaan dalam mengakses informasi kepada penggunanya. We propose develop a generalized algorithm for hiding audio signal using image steganography. The authors suggest transmitting short audio messages camouflaged in digital images using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) as an encryption technique. The quantum of principal components required to represent the audio signal by removing the redundancies is a measure of the magnitude of the Eigen values. The aforementioned technique follows a dual task of encryption and in turn also compresses the audio data, sufficient enough to be buried in the image. A 57Kb audio signal is decipher from the Stego image with a high PSNR of 47.49 and a correspondingly low mse of 3.3266 × 10 −6 with an equalized high quality audio output. The consistent and comparable experimental results on application of the proposed method across a series of images demonstrate that PCA based encryption can be adapted as an universal rule for a specific payload and the desired compression ratio.
