“…Frequencies of non-social uses are shown for comparison purposes only. As expected, making voice calls (82.6%) and using SMS (69.4%) were the most frequent mobile social uses, corresponding to the similar finding by Choudrie et al (2017), followed by e-mailing (53.7%), instant messaging (50.3%), and using SNS (34.5%). This sequence of uses corresponds to the sequence found by Barbosa Neves et al (2018) regarding the internet use among the older population.…”

Therefore, the score on it ranged from zero to four.…”

“…The next micro‐perspective customer factor is compatibility with future RMG technologies; this suggests MbUS is compatible with RMGs new technologies and processes of personal communication. The finding supports Chang et al (2018) and Choudrie et al (2017) revealing compatibility as a determinant of smartphone use. Another recent study by Humbani and Wiese (2018) supports compatibility driving consumers' adoption of MbUS services such as mobile banking, mobile shopping, and mobile health.…”

“…MbUS is compatible with users in many ways, such as for business and personal communication and information on health issues. Chang et al (2018) and Choudrie et al (2017) revealed that compatibility is a determinant of smartphone use. As a consequence of the above points, the following hypothesis is proposed:H2 Higher levels of perceived compatibility will be positively related to higher levels of intention to use MbUS services.…”

“…In addition, there is the factor of interest. This is due to individual Technology and educational experiences (Amann-Hechenberger et al, 2015;Busch et al, 2021;Choudrie et al, 2017;Delello & McWhorter, 2017).…”
