Currently, Electronic Health Records are managed using a client-server architecture by which healthcare providers retain data stewardship. But this strategy has problems with security and privacy, a single point of failure, fragmented data, and susceptibility. Blockchain is a brand-new, developing technology for distributed databases that uses cryptography to ensure the security, incorruptibility, and integrity of data. These characteristics allow secure and reliable data storage. Blockchain-based record management system uses smart contracts to ensure the privacy of patients. This health record management platform will store the user’s hospital, lab, pharmacy, and insurer records. It will increase the speed of information storing and exchange So that all patients can easily access individual medical records in different hospitals and clinics. This will help doctors and patients with diagnoses and also various insurance companies to check the medical records by getting access to records from the platform and also this will help the researchers and scientists.

The growth of data generation capabilities, facilitated by advancements in communication and computation technologies, as well as the rise of the Internet of Things (IoT), results in vast amounts of data that significantly enhance the performance of machine learning models. However, collecting all necessary data to train accurate models is often unfeasible due to privacy laws. Federated Learning (FL) evolved as a collaborative machine learning approach for training models without sharing private data. Unfortunately, several in-design vulnerabilities have been exposed, allowing attackers to infer private data of participants and negatively impacting the performance of the federated model. In light of these challenges and to encourage the development of FL solutions, this paper provides a comprehensive analysis of secure FL proposals that both protect user privacy and enhance the performance of the model. We performed a systematic review using predefined criteria to screen and extract data from multiple electronic databases, resulting in a final set of studies for analysis. Through the systematic review methodology, the paper groups the security vulnerabilities of FL into model-performance and data privacy attacks. It also presents an analysis and comparison of potential mitigation strategies against these attacks. Additionally, the paper conducts a security analysis of state-of-the-art FL applications and proposals based on the vulnerabilities addressed. Finally, the paper outlines the main applications of secure FL and lists future research challenges. The survey highlights the crucial role of security strategies in ensuring the protection of user privacy and model performance in the context of future FL applications.

Integrating blockchain technology with the Internet of Things (IoT) facilitates seamless interaction between IoT devices and systems to securely share, access, and exchange data. However, ensuring adequate access control within blockchainenabled IoT (BIoT) systems remains a significant challenge. It is often difficult to adapt existing access control mechanisms to the dynamic and context-dependent nature of IoT environments, necessitating a robust context-aware approach to ensure adequate security and the privacy of resources within BIoT systems. In this paper, we propose a novel smart contract-enabled context-aware access control (SC-CAAC) scheme for BIoT systems. It utilizes context-aware access control models that consider contextual information, including user profile, purpose, date, time, location, resource, and operating environment specifications, to make access control decisions. Smart contracts dynamically enforce access control policies and manage access permissions, ensuring that sensitive data and resources are accessible only to authorized users. The proposed scheme leverages the immutability, transparency, and decentralization of a blockchain that is shared by multiple participants in a consortium network, removing the need for a central authority to record and audit access control policies and decisions and promoting accountability and trust. The implementation and evaluation of our proposed scheme using the Hyperledger Besu blockchain demonstrates its effectiveness and scalability in real-world scenarios.Index Terms-Blockchain, blockchain-based Internet of Things (BIoT), context-aware access control (CAAC), Internet of Things (IoT), smart contracts.
