Smart-parking management algorithms in smart city

Abstract: Recently, various advanced technologies have been employed to build smart cities. Smart cities aim at improving the quality of life through the delivery of better services. One of the current services that are essential for any smart city, is the availability of enough parking spaces to ensure smooth and easy traffic flow. This research proposes a new framework for solving the problem of parking lot allocation, which emphasizes the equitable allocation of people based on the overall count of people in each par… Show more

“…Beyond better land-use planning for the built environment, city planners are adopting data-driven approaches for the design of the so-called ‘smart city’ 14 , 15 . The smart city concept can tap the potential of distributed multi-sensory networks—including solutions based on the Internet of Things (IoT)—to measure various features of a city such as traffic, energy, waste, environment, and people 16 .…”

“…Zhu et al discussed and summarized the recent two-dimensional materials. These studies involve biology, materials science, electronics, chemistry, and other disciplines, and an increasing number of studies are leading the development of modern display technology to a new stage. However, there is seldom a way to give consideration to the advantages of both cost and versatility, which is a pain point and a blind spot for the current development of smart displays. , The development of the next generation of intelligent displays urgently requires dual-function devices. , Oh et al reported a double heterojunction nanorod device that can be used for simultaneous light emission and detection. Using a bifunctional perovskite diode, Shan et al proposed a bidirectional optical link between two identical devices.…”

“…In addition, dispatching the persons into vehicle ti ensure an equity distribution of these persons on the available parking is proposed in [ 21 ]. Recently, authors in [ 22 ] proposed novel algorithms to solve the parking managment. Several researches have been uploaded in the literature in order to cover some aspects in relation to the execution period and the gap valuation, which have been used to explore the assessment of the development procedures.…”
