In this proposed method, iMCS can detect and prevent fake sensing activities of mobile users using machine learning techniques. Our iMCS solution uses behavioral analysis based on participants' reliability scores to detect variation in behavior of users and introduces a new role in a distributed system of MCS architecture to validate the collected data. To evaluate the incentive based on the participant's sensory data and data quality, to properly distribute profit among the participants, we employ the Shapley Value approach. The evaluation results demonstrate that our method is effective in both quality estimations and incentive sharing.

A fully automated house must ensure all the appliances must be connection and provide a smart way of working for the human. The insight of Internet of Things (IoT) network provision the necessary platform to implement the automated home. The proposed system emphasizes, how all the appliances would be connected to IoT to ensure fully automated home. In this framework the smart home has been divided into various areas like smart kitchen, smart gardening, home safety and security system, and smart lightning system. The reliable protocol stack has been utilized to provide efficient communication along with proper security measures. The reliable protocol suite works on top of MQTT and TCP to ensure reliable communication. The smart gateway utilized for this framework and provides firewall security as with a two-phase filtering mechanism as well as scalability. among all the appliances in the home.

Security Perception of IoT Devices in Smart Homes

IoT devices are used frequently in smart homes. To better understand how users perceive the security of IoT devices in their smart homes, a model was developed and tested with multiple linear regression. A total of 306 participants participated in the survey with measurement items, out of which 121 had already been using IoT devices in their smart homes. The results show that users’ awareness of data breaches, ransomware attacks, personal information access breaches, and device vulnerabilities have an effect on IoT security importance. On the other hand, users often do not check their security settings and feel safe while using IoT devices. This paper provides an overview of users’ perception of security while using IoT devices, and can help developers build better devices and help raise awareness of security among users.
