The article is dedicated to exploring SMART technologies in the process of teaching the Ukrainian language to students in general secondary and higher education institutions. Specifically, methodical recommendations are formulated to enhance the effectiveness of utilizing these technologies in the modern educational process. The significance of SMART technologies is substantially increasing in the innovative paradigm of the educational process under the influence of integration, globalization, and the transition to an information society. The article employs a comparative and content analysis of distance and electronic learning of the Ukrainian language. It delves into the theoretical foundations of computer-assisted language teaching as a distinct methodological approach based on “smart” technologies. The authors emphasize the effectiveness of using interactive whiteboards and multimedia presentations to implement the principle of visualizing language elements and structures, facilitating students' acquisition of lexical-grammatical material. It is identified that creating mental maps is an effective SMART teaching technology for the Ukrainian language. To this end, computer services such as MindMeister, Mindomo, Cliffy, Spinscape, Bubbl.us, MAPMYself, SpiderScribe, and others are recommended. The research concludes that the use of SMART technologies by students in general secondary and higher education institutions contributes to increased motivation for language learning, improved literacy levels, facilitates independent research efforts aimed at enhancing professional-communicative competence, and streamlines the process of knowledge assessment by educators.

The paper discusses models and methods for improving the performance of wireless computer networks built based on the decomposition of the lower levels of the OSI reference model. A method to improve the performance of networks is suggested, which functionally combines the physical and network layers, which improves its efficiency in marginal reception areas almost twice. A model of the block diagram of a device for improving data transmission quality in marginal reception areas or those with insufficient noise immunity is developed based on the so-called communication quality status monitoring, as well as a model of the block diagram of a wireless adaptive capacity reallocation router based on dynamic channels capacity reallocation, which allows adequately reallocating IS resources depending on traffic and user priority. Keywords— Bluetooth, FIFO discipline, IEEE 802.11, OSI/ISO reference model, wireless computer networks.

Using mobile apps for learning professionally oriented English is highly topical and widely recognized as an effective and convenient method for language acquisition. Mobile apps provide a range of benefits that contribute to their popularity among undergraduates. The key reasons why using mobile apps for learning English is considered topical: accessibility, convenience, interactive and engaging content, personalized learning, variety of learning materials, social and community features, progress tracking. So, the aim of the paper is to study the effectiveness of mobile applications for learning professional English during the study at higher education institutions in Ukraine. Instruments of data collection used were analysis of scientific sources, questionnaires, interviews, and focused group discussion. The results of questionnaires and interviews prove the need to use mobile apps for developing the level of English by students of higher education institutions. Searching the problem provide the opportunities to determine the most used mobile apps for studying English and describe their advantages in the process of learning English in non-linguistic specialties. The process of learning English at higher education establishments aimed at using mobile apps proved the effectiveness of such process because of increasing English level of Ukrainian higher education students.
