The purpose of this study is to make an electric pulses top-up model with a smart card as an alternative to fill in the digit number from the voucher into the prepaid electricity meter which is currently done manually. Using a smart card in a prepaid electricity meter can reduce the error rate when entering a token number. This application can also detect how much energy is used, store in the database, and can determine the category of pulses use in the kWh meter, as well as help users know the use of electricity that is classified as saving, normal, and wasteful. The system was designed with Vb.net and MySql programs. The results are an electric pulse top-up model based on a smart card for prepaid electricity meter, and an application that stores a history of the use of electrical energy used in determining the electricity usage category. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat model pengisian pulsa listrik dengan smart card (kartu pintar) sebagai alternatif pengisian nomor digit ke dalam meteran listrik prabayar yang saat ini dilakukan secara manual. Pemanfaatan smart card sebagai pengganti nomor token dalam meteran listrik prabayar dapat membantu mengurangi tingkat kesalahan pada saat memasukkan nomor token. Aplikasi ini juga dapat mendeteksi berapa besar energi yang terpakai, menyimpan dalam database, dan dapat menentukan kategori pemakaian pulsa pada kWh listrik, serta membantu pengguna mengetahui pemakaian listrik yang tergolong dalam hemat, normal dan boros. Sistem dirancang dengan program Vb.net dan MySql. Hasil yang didapatkan berupa model pengisian pulsa pada meteran listrik prabayar berbasis kartu pintar dan aplikasi untuk menyimpan riwayat pemakaian energi listrik yang digunakan dalam penentuan kategori pemakaian listrik.

<p>This paper examines the integration of smart home and solar panel system that is controlled and monitored using IoT (internet ofthings). To enable the smart home system to monitor the activity within the house and act according to the current conditions, it is equipped with several sensors, actuators and smart appliances. All of these devices have to be connected to a communication network, so they can communicate and provide services forthe smart home’s in habitants. The smart home system was first introduced to provide comfort and convenience, but later it should also address many other things, e.g. the importance of the efficient use of energy or electricity and hybrid use of energy sources. A solar panel is added to the smart home prototype and its addition is studied. Adaptive linear neural network is implemented in the prototype as an algorithm for predicting decisions based on the current conditions. The construction of the proposed integrated systemis carried out through several procedures, i.e. the implementation of the adaptive linear neural network (ADALINE) as the neural network method, the design of the prototype and the testing process. This prototype integrates functionalities of several household appliances into one application controlled by an Android-based framework.</p>

KWh meters is a tool to measure the electric energy usage with "kilowatt hour" unit. The current KWh metersdoesn't yet have a remote monitoring feature, so the process for monitoring, reading the value of electrical energy, as well as making the termination and turning on the kWh meter is done directly to the customer's premises. Surely this will take a long time and the service becomes less satisfactory. The objective of this research is to make a model of kWh reading system (kilowatt-hours) PLN household power meter for recording of electrical energy used as well as providing information on power usage that is used in real time and accessible through communication network. kWh model reading system is designed as a tool for reading kWh postpaid electricity meter PLN households in the recording of electronic meters automatically made from a distance using the communication media. To know the incoming load through kWh Meters postpaid paired a current sensor that serves to detect electric current. Load data in the process using a microcontroller directly displayed to the LCD screen and automatically stored data into the database.
