This review enhances the existing literature on relationships between problematic smartphone use (PSU), psychopathology, addictive personality, and online social engagement as regards young adults, giving attention to predictive determinants of addictive behavior in smartphone usage. My article cumulates previous research findings on the psychology of addictive smartphone behavior in terms of problematic use, social anxiety, and depressive stress by focusing on the relationship among mobile social media usage, smartphone addiction risk, mental health issues, and individual well-being. The inspected collected findings prove that depression and social anxiety constitute risk determinants for greater PSU and that particular categories of smartphone applications are positively related to well-being. State anxiety and motivations represent significant predictors of PSU. High PSU affects participation in social engagement. As limitations in the current review, my results point towards relevant avenues of research on social consequences of teenagers’ smartphone problematic use. Future directions should clarify whether compulsive smartphone use adversely affects both mental and physical health in the long run.

Sustainable, Smart, and Sensing Technologies for Cyber-Physical Manufacturing Systems: A Systematic Literature Review

With growing evidence of the operational performance of cyber-physical manufacturing systems, there is a pivotal need for comprehending sustainable, smart, and sensing technologies underpinning data-driven decision-making processes. In this research, previous findings were cumulated showing that cyber-physical production networks operate automatically and smoothly with artificial intelligence-based decision-making algorithms in a sustainable manner and contribute to the literature by indicating that sustainable Internet of Things-based manufacturing systems function in an automated, robust, and flexible manner. Throughout October 2020 and April 2021, a quantitative literature review of the Web of Science, Scopus, and ProQuest databases was performed, with search terms including “Internet of Things-based real-time production logistics”, “sustainable smart manufacturing”, “cyber-physical production system”, “industrial big data”, “sustainable organizational performance”, “cyber-physical smart manufacturing system”, and “sustainable Internet of Things-based manufacturing system”. As research published between 2018 and 2021 was inspected, and only 426 articles satisfied the eligibility criteria. By taking out controversial or ambiguous findings (insufficient/irrelevant data), outcomes unsubstantiated by replication, too general material, or studies with nearly identical titles, we selected 174 mainly empirical sources. Further developments should entail how cyber-physical production networks and Internet of Things-based real-time production logistics, by use of cognitive decision-making algorithms, enable the advancement of data-driven sustainable smart manufacturing.

In the digital transformation era, higher education stands on the cusp of a revolution. This paper dives into the heart of this transformation, presenting a novel model of intelligent party building education that leverages digital technology to forge a new path for learning. Through the lens of ecological construction, we unveil the CFA model and a sophisticated deep knowledge tracking method aimed at enhancing student performance in Civic and Political Sciences. Our journey through empirical analysis and comparative experiments sheds light on the transformative power of digital education techniques. Despite the initial findings suggesting a modest impact of smart party building and teaching methods on knowledge retention (with significance levels of 0.6941 and 0.4963), a deeper exploration reveals a compelling narrative: the synergistic effect of these methods significantly boosts knowledge retention, as demonstrated by an F-value of 5.6941 and a P-value below 0.05. The prowess of Civics teachers, assessed across three dimensions, further narrates the success of this educational innovation, with scores reflecting their deep understanding of the curriculum and a robust theoretical knowledge base. The performance of 32 Civics teachers, with scores ranging from 12 to 24, underscores the efficacy of intelligent party building education in today’s colleges and universities.
