Smart Cities in Russia: Prospects and Limitations of Development

Abstract

The article is devoted to the development of "Smart cities" as a promising direction in territorial planning, architectural and construction design, construction based on the active use of information and communication and digital technologies, focused on the formation and development of a comfortable urban environment that integrates both housing and urban spaces. The analysis has been carried out and the factors that have both positive and negative effects on this process have been identified.
