Smallholder REDD+ strategies at the forest–farm frontier: a comparative analysis of options from the Peruvian Amazon

Abstract: Background: Involving local populations in developing countries will be key to the success of the REDD+ forest mitigation mechanism. Strategies should therefore be designed to target specific activities, land uses and decision-making at the smallholder level.
