The diode reported in [1] employed an assembly of thin samarium-cobalt ring magnets arranged outside the vacuum volume, which signifi cantly restricted the radial dimensions of the device. Now, we propose to use a diode with extended cylindrical magnet magnetized in the longitudinal direction and arranged inside the vacuum volume.…”
