Abstract: Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb), the infectious agent of tuberculosis (TB), causes over 1.5 million deaths globally every year. Host-directed therapies (HDT) for TB are desirable for their potential to shorten treatment and reduce the development of antibiotic resistance.
