Sloss Micellar/Polymer Flood Post Test Evaluation Well

Abstract: A successful post-test evaluation well was drilled in the Sloss Field, Kimball County, Nebraska, following a micellar-polymer flood. Drilling and sampling procedures are discussed which help insure valid data. Sulfonate loss, adsorption plus partitioning, was determined to be 0.4 of a pound per barrel (1.1 Kg/m3) of pore space.
