Abstract:Unilateral diaphragmatic paralysis (UDP) is usually found incidentally in those who underwent chest radiography for some other reason. Often patients are asymptomatic at rest but may have breathlessness upon exertion and have a decrease in exercise capacity. Dyspnea at rest may occur if the patient has an underlying lung disease.
