“…19,20 Unlike traditional collagen preparations, Dermicol-P35 27G and 30G have low potential for immunogenicity and do not require a skin test before cosmetic procedure. 21 Thus, it is of interest to assess both the recovery time and time to return to daily activities after treatment with Dermicol-P35 27G, 30G, or both, and the immediate adverse effects of these procedures and the time to resolution for these effects.…”

“…30 We identified five studies that characterized the immunologic safety profile of a soft-tissue filler. 51,52 For example, in a study assessing Restylane and Perlane for nasolabial fold correction, Hamilton et al used skin and serology testing to evaluate humoral immune responses with potential for immediate (type I) or immune complexemediated (type II and III) hypersensitivity. The study also gathered histopathologic data using biopsy specimens collected from skin test sites to examine subjects for possible cell-mediated inflammation that is associated with delayed (type IV) hypersensitivity.…”

“…Im Gegensatz zum bovinen Kollagen ist keine Vortestung notwendig. Das 7 geringe Sensibilisierungspotenzial wurde in einer klinischen Studie an 519 Probanden bestätigt [35]. Den Probanden wurde 2-mal im Abstand von 2 Wochen porcines Kollagen intradermal gespritzt.…”
