Skin Tear Healing Improved Through the Use of Polymeric Membrane Dressings*

Abstract: approved by both Hospitals Ethical Committees. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to determine the predictive power of independent variables related to the development of PU. Linear model was used for repetitive measures. The results showed that albumin (OR = 3.475, P < 0.001) and SGA (OR = 3.787, P < 0.001) showed to be the most important predictive factors after univariate logistic regression. Nutrition sub scale showed to be a predictive factor in the second (P < 0.001) and t… Show more

“…As can be seen, following reviews of titles and abstracts from a total of 59 citations, 48 were excluded. Then, following a review of the full papers of the remaining citations, three were rejected for the following reasons: non‐eligible interventions, non‐eligible injuries and non‐eligible study design (Hovan, 2019; Tully et al, 2007; Wilson, 2007) (see Table 1). Finally, seven articles were deemed to meet the inclusion criteria (Bank & Nix, 2006; Brillhart, 2005; Groom et al, 2010; Hunter et al, 2003; Lopez et al, 2011; McTigue et al, 2009; Powell et al, 2017).…”
