“…Since that time, reports of infections caused by M&a and Herellea have increased in frequency. Illimene have been reported as the etiological agent of meningitis (Olafsson et al, 1958), septicemia (Faust et al, 1949)) endocarditis (Minzter, 1956)) osteomyelitis (Brodie et al, 1963), pneumonia (Glick et al, 1959), postburn sepsis (Graber, 1962), wound infections (Daly et al, 1962), skin lesions (Dexter et al, 1958)) and gonorrhea-like urethritis (Scott et al, 1953).
