Abstract

SKILLS XXI CENTURY, AS A CONDITION FOR THE RELEASE OF YOUNG PEOPLE INTO THE LABOR MARKET У статті проведено комплексне дослідження структури попиту та пропозиції навичок, які реалізуються молоддю на ринку праці України. Здійснено порівняльну оцінку поточної та перспективної затребуваності серед роботодавців навичок і вмінь у молодій робочій силі. Визначено роль соціальних компетенцій у забезпеченні конкурентоспроможності молоді на ринку праці, встановлено, що творчість, багатозадачність та стресостійкість є одними з найважливіших навичок для роботодавців сьогодні. Проведено оцінку рівня володіння молоддю актуальними вміння та навичками, серед яких найбільшого вдосконалення потребують: комунікабельність та ораторське мистецтво, вміння працювати в команді, аналітичне та системне мислення, осмислення і прийняття рішень тощо. Окреслено вікові відмінності у ступені володіння та затребуваності певних навичок. Запропоновано заходи, щодо розширення можливостей збалансування попиту та пропозиції на навички на ринку праці. The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the structure of supply and demand for skills implemented by young people in the labor market of Ukraine, based on the analysis of international and national research in this field. The comparative assessment of current and future demand among employers, skills and abilities of the young workforce. The role of social competences in ensuring the competitiveness of young people in the labor market has been determined, it has been established that creativity, multitasking and stress resistance are among the most important for employers today. Modern Ukrainian youth are well versed in: adaptability, teamwork, communication skills, negotiation skills, competent written and spoken language, ability to learn quickly, initiative and basic computer literacy. The estimation of current level of youth skills, the most need of improvement: communication and public speaking, teamwork, analytical and systematic thinking, thinking and decision-making, and so on. The age differences in the level of ownership and demand for certain skills are outlined, in particular in the speed of adaptability of the staff, ability to learn, flexibility, skills and willingness to work in a team, information and media literacy. The lack of a clear vision of the skills and professions that will be required in the future has been identified among Ukrainian employers.
