Abstract: The site-selective nucleophilic attacks of hydroxybenzaldehydes on PFP were used to prepare several perfluoropyridinated (oxy)benzaldehydes. The F-C alkylation reaction of arenes/heteroarenes with the derived products under SSA catalysis afforded novel fluorinated TRAMs.
