Sistema de Apoio à Gestão de Cursos de Graduação à Distância: Relato de uma Experiência na SEDIS/UFRN

Abstract

This article presents a information system implemented at the Distance Education Secretariat of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte-SEDIS/UFRN, to manage the information that make up the planning of the semester. The methodology used was an adaptation of the standard information systems development lifecycle. The strategy of research was a case study of the use of this system, during the planning of the semester 2013, in the distance learning undergraduate courses at SEDIS/UFRN. As results, it is pointed out that the solution is capable of supporting the management, especially the information that will build the Virtual Learning Environment-VLE, more agility in the production and printing of learning materials, as well as its distribution to centers of learning.
