Indonesia’s Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education founded the Student Creativity Program (abbreviated as PKM) to help Indonesian students better understand, develop, and apply the science and technology they learn in class. Public and private university students alike can participate in this important event. Once a proposal has been submitted and reviewed at each institution, the activity moves on to the national level. Students at colleges and universities have the power to select the best proposals to ensure that the best ideas get funded. The choice is made by the research and community service institution (abbreviated as LPPM). LPPM uses qualified reviewers in their respective fields to do the selection. After that, the papers are ranked according to the PKM guidebook’s evaluation components, which are listed in the review findings. A comparison method is essential to evaluate proposals because subjective evaluation is severely discouraged. PKM proposal selection will be examined utilizing decision support system methodologies in this study. The problem was solved using the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) approach. Title, Abstract, Preliminary; Destination; Method; Discussion Result; Conclusion; and Bibliography comprise the eight components of the assessment criteria based on 21 samples of PKM proposals. The ARAS technique calculates that nine suggestions are deserving of national selection, with a Ki value ranging from 0.97534518 to 0.70813085.

The selection of the right place for the online English course is certainly expected to produce output that is in line with expectations. For this reason, a solution is needed to help make decisions on choosing the right place for online English courses. A system that can assist in making decisions and can provide recommendations for the right choice is a decision support system (DSS). In the implementation of DSS, appropriate methods or models are also needed according to the cases discussed. One method that can be used is the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. The ARAS method is a multi-criteria decision-making method based on the concept of classification using the utility level by comparing the overall index value of each alternative with the overall optimal alternative index value. The system created has features or functions that are in accordance with the needs of using the ARAS method in calculating to perform alternative rankings. Based on the case studies conducted, ARAS was able to find the best alternative from several alternatives with Lister results of 0.459, Engoo of 0.635, Golden English of 0.702, English Academy of 1. The system was made using the XP methodology, with features including being able to manage criteria values, alternatives and count to display the ranking of the best alternatives. In terms of functionality, the system that has been made has met expectations or in other words 100% functions well, and produces calculations that are in accordance with manual calculations. This system can be implemented in a choice of online English courses quickly and precisely.

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) menjadi perangkat yang penting, karena memiliki fungsi sebagai pemasok arus listrik jika arus listrik dari PLN padam ssecara tiba-tiba. Meningkatnya jumlah perusahaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, kantor layanan umum, serta institusi berbasis data lainnya membuat UPS semakin penting. Akan tetapi, saat ini telah beredar berbagai produk UPS yang menawarkan kemampuan dan sepesifikasi yang beragam. Untuk itu, perlu kejelian dalam pemilihan produk UPS agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu membangun sistem pendukung keputusan melalui penyelesaian Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) dengan pendekatan Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) untuk pemilihan UPS, agar menghasilkan sistem yang mampu membantu untuk pengambilan keputusan pemilihan UPS yang tepat serta sesuai kebutuhan. Metode ARAS digunakan sebagai model yang dapat melakukan pemilihan alternatif terbaik yang didasari oleh tingkat utilitas pada masing-masing alternatif untuk menentukan alternatif terbaik. Dari hasil uji dengan black-box testing memperlihatkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan sudah berjalan dengan baik. Selain itu, sistem dapat menghasilkan perhitungan dengan metode ARAS yang valid karena hasilnya sesuai dengan perhitungan manual.
