Abstract: Introduction: In intensive care units (ICU), patients remain bedridden for a long time. In addition, severe infections are frequently seen in ICUs. Both prolonged immobilization and serious infections are associated with bone tissue loss. The Wnt pathway has recently been focused on evaluating bone tissue loss.
