There is a growing interest to adopt vendor-driven DevOps tools in organizations. However, it is not clear which tools to use in a reference architecture which enables the deployment of the emerging IoT applications to multi-cloud environments. A research-based and vendor-neutral DevOps reference architecture (DRA) framework has been developed to address this critical challenge. The DRA framework can be utilized to architect and implement the DevOps environment that enables automation and continuous integration of software applications deployment to multi-cloud. This paper confers and discusses the evaluation outcomes of the DRA framework at the DigiSAS research Lab. The evaluation outcomes present practical evidence about the applicability of the DRA framework. The evaluation results also indicate that the DRA framework provides general knowledge-base to researchers and practitioners about the adoption DevOps approach in reference architecture design for deploying IoT-applications to multi-cloud environments.

Internet of things (IoT) is leading a new digital age. IoT is regarded as the significant frontier that can improve almost all aspect of our lives. Currently, the IoT technology faces several challenges to academic researchers and industry practitioners, mainly that related with security of data. The objective of this study is to develop a prioritization-based taxonomy of the challenging factors that could hinders the security of IoT. By conducting the literature review and questionnaire survey studies 21 challenging factors were identified that are reported in existing literature and in real-world practices. Moreover, the identified challenging factors are mapped in the core domain of IoT (i.e. smart city, smart home, smart wearable's and smart health care); and apply the fuzzy-AHP approach to rank the identified challenging factors with respect to their criticality for security of IoT technology. The application of fuzzy-AHP is novel in this research area as it is successfully applied in other domains of information technology to address the multi-criterion decision making problems. This study is contributing by providing a prioritization-based taxonomy of the IoT security challenging factors that could help the practitioners and research community to revise and develop the new strategies for the secure IoT.

Recent technology has modeled VANET (vehicular adhoc network) communication well in terms of privileges to derive vehicular communication technologically to save time, energy, and money. Due to the increase in powerful technology in modern times, VANETs play a vital role in uplifting daily concerns across vehicles and vehicular identities. Hence, to tune VANETs to become compatible with traditional technologies and increase demand, VANETs require upgrading. The severity and frequency of unwanted occurrences have become a considerable concern for our day-to-day lives relating to vehicular position. Thus, verily updated methodologies or working procedures are needed for the future VANET interplay to eradicate such problems occurring through vehicular identities. This article outlines in technology related to VANETS, future developments, and coping issues by deriving comprehensive frameworks, workflow patterns, upgrading procedures including big data, fog computing, SDN (software defined networking), and SIoT (social Internet of Things). This review article previews an in-depth VANET upgrade possibility to address future problem managements under a range of acceptable scientific themes, indicators, and combinations.
