Abstract:We propose a sinusoidal phase-modulating laser diode interferometer that uses a charge-coupled device (CCD)-based additive operation on four integrating buckets. By shifting the injection-current bias of a laser diode to introduce additional phase shifts, a portion of the subtractive operations on the integrating buckets become additive operations, which are achieved in the CCD. This approach serves to reduce both data processing and measurement time.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
