Şi̇nşi̇lla'nin (Chi̇nchi̇lla Boli̇vi̇ana) Abdomen Ve Pelvi̇s Organlari Üzeri̇nde Makro-Anatomi̇k Araştirmalar (Geni̇tal Organlar Hari̇ç)

Abstract

Sununary:In this macroanatonıical study involving the abdominal and pelvic organs (except the genital organs) of 12 malc chinchillas were used and follo\Ving observations were made.1-The stomach is divided into two unequal parts by a prominent pillar making ri~ht angle with the greater curvature and is located approximately 7. 6 mm ventral to the orifice of the esophagus. The left dorsal part resembles a ballooıı !ike sac. The right part Icading to the pylorus, looks like a funnel and becomes gradually narrower before opening to duodenum.2-The course of the duodenum is similar to the horse duodenum.3-Ileum is not englarged (as in rabbit) before joining with eecum.4-Colons begining from the cecum on the left of the median plane, constitute six folds in the cranio--£audal direction, that is betwecn the diaphragma and the pclvie cavity. The ascending colon contains two teniae and sacculations.5-The shape of the splcen resemblcs that of the dog spIeen.6-The ehinchilla's liver looks like a rabbit liver and contains a pear shaped gallbladder. Furthermore, on the caudate lobe there are t\Vo prominent process es naıned as, papillar and eaudate process.7-The anterior extremity of the right kidney is ınore sharp than that the left kidney.
