Sinonasal haemangiopericytoma: a case report

Abstract: Haemangiopericytoma (HPC) is a rare vascular tumour that is thought to originate from the vascular pericytes of Zimmerman. HPC may arise in any part of the body, and from 15 to 30% of these tumours are found in the head and neck, with a rare involvement of the sinonasal region The main symptoms of nasal HPC, epistaxis and nasal obstruction, are not typical.
