Sinha, Jai B. P

Abstract: In a career spanning more than half a century, Jai B. P. Sinha has been a leading voice for indigenous psychology and in particular for Indian psychology. Born June 1, 1936, Sinha completed the B.A. (1956) and M.A. (1958) at Bihar University. After teaching for a few years at Ranchi University, he pursued doctoral studies at the Ohio State University, where he received the Ph.D. in 1965. He then joined the A. N.
