Single top quark production at the CERN LHC as a probe ofRparity violation

Abstract: We investigate the potential of the LHC to probe the R parity violating couplings involving the third generation by considering single top production. This study is based on particle level event generation for both signal and background, interfaced to a simplified simulation of the ATLAS detector.
