Single pot selective hydrogenation of furfural to 2-methylfuran over carbon supported iridium catalysts

Abstract: Various iridium supported carbon catalysts were prepared and screened for the direct hydrogenation of furfural (FFR) to 2-methyl furan (2-MF).
