Single-pixel imaging of dynamic objects using multi-frame motion estimation

Abstract: Single-pixel imaging (SPI) enables the visualization of objects with a single detector by using a sequence of spatially modulated illumination patterns. For natural images, the number of illumination patterns may be smaller than the number of pixels when compressed-sensing algorithms are used. Nonetheless, the sequential nature of the SPI measurement requires that the object remains static until the signals from all the required patterns have been collected. In this paper, we present a new approach to SPI that… Show more

“…In the literature [8,9], researchers obtained motion estimates based on a motion state search conditioned on the optimal quality of the reconstructed images, which required repeated image reconstruction to determine the correct motion parameters. Some scholars used the method of solving the maximum value of the correlation function of two rough images to obtain relative position pose estimates of the target, which could not recover the tracking of the target in case of tracking loss [10][11][12] . Reference literature [13] divided the specks into different sub-specks based on the variation of object arm bucket detection sampling data and the motion of the target throughout the illumination pattern, and determined the target position by finding the corresponding overlap between the target bucket detection value and some parts of the speckle.…”

“…The machinery not only overcomes Nyquist sampling's constraints but also allows for simultaneous signal sampling and compression, lowering the cost of signal storage, transmission, and processing. Among the applications that have aroused the interest of researchers are single-pixel imaging [5], magnetic resonance imaging [6], radar imaging [7], wireless sensor networks [8], limited data computed tomography [9], optical diffusion tomography [10], ultrasound tomography [11], and electron tomography [12].…”

“…These advantages make the combination of IT and sports more and more popular. Various companies have also launched a variety of sports APP and launched free sports records, fitness guidance, and other services to attract users and seize this emerging market [10,11]. In addition to sports itself, the concept of sports social networking is becoming more and more mature and loved by users and has even become a keyword that sports APP need to pay attention to.…”
