Single-mode pulse-periodic oscillator–amplifier system with wavefront reversal

Abstract: The shielding of an ion by an electron gas is considered. For electrons at the Fermi level, phase shifts and phase shift gradients in energy are evaluated for 24 elements and for k , (in atomic units) in the range (0.2, 1.2).
