Abstract: <p class="abstract"><strong>Background:</strong> Adhesive capsulitis is a common, painful musculoskeletal condition of the shoulder associated with loss of range of motion in the glenohumeral joint resulting from contraction of the glenohumeral joint capsule and adherence to the humeral head.
