Abstract:The influence of electrode shorting on the stability of single domain state in triglycine sulphate single crystals is investigated by the method of Barkhausen effect. Polarization reversal jumps were observed in the experiment under the condition of invariable macroscopic polarization of the crystal. An estimation and comparison of the Barkhausen jumps (BJ) parameters were made for the cases of electrode shorting and applying electric field to the sample.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
