Single-cell analyses of the corneal epithelium: Unique cell types and gene expression profiles

Abstract: Corneal Epithelial Stem Cells (CESCs) and their proliferative progeny, the Transit Amplifying Cells (TACs), are responsible for homeostasis and maintaining corneal transparency.
