Abstract:Introducción: En compromiso neurológico en el síndrome urémico hemolítico producido por Eschericha coli productor de Shiga toxina (STEC-SUH) es la primera causa de mortalidad. En los últimos años se ha demostrado que también contribuye al daño de órgano la activaci ón de la vía alterna del complemento.
