Abstract: A síndrome da pele escaldada estafilocócica é um distúrbio bolhoso induzido por toxinas esfoliativas associado à infecção por Staphylococcus aureus, cujo exato mecanismo ainda é incerto manifestando-se com a formação de lesões bolhosas difusas pelo corpo que, usualmente, afeta crianças menores de 5 anos.
