Simultaneous Tromboembolic Events in a Patient with Heterozygous MTHFR Mutation

Abstract: Background: Hyperhomocysteinemia is a well recognised risk factor for arterial and venous thrombosis. The most common form results from methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) gene mutations leading to decreased enzymatic activity.
