“…The peaks at 2θ=60.1 (110), 61.5 (113) and 63.5 (103) were merged due to the replacement of excess of water molecules by the guest SNBS. From the Scherrer equation , trueτ=boldKλβ4ptcosθ …”

“…Two series of AMoW (A = Ni or Co) precursors were synthesised by a co-precipitation method as described elsewhere [31]. Ammonium heptamolybdate and ammonium metatungstate aqueous solutions were prepared each containing quantities of Mo and W to obtain 1:0, 2:1, 1:1, 1:2 and 0:1 molar Mo:W solutions.…”

“…The NiMo layered precursor (Ni1.6-Mo-am), its corresponding mixed oxide (Ni1.6-Mo-ca) and sulphided catalyst (Ni1.6-Mo-s) have been studied in previous work [31], where the simultaneous HDS/HDA activity of the latter was compared with that of an aluminasupported NiMo material synthesised in our laboratory [36].…”
