Simultaneous stereoselective detection of chiral fungicides in soil by LC-MS/MS with fast sample preparation

Abstract: An enantioselective method was developed for the simultaneous detection of five chiral fungicides in soil, including fenbuconazole (1), tetraconazole (2), nuarimol (3), triticonazole (4), and simeconazole (5) by LC-MS/MS on a chiral stationary phase of cellulose tris-(3-chloro-4-methylphenylcarbamate) with a gradient elution. A new multifunctional filter was designed to simplify the QuEChERS (where QuEChERS is quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe) method by simultaneous cleanup and filtration when t… Show more

“…The EF was evaluated to express the enantiomeric compositions [ 30 ] and was defined as the enantiomeric concentration ratio (+)/[(-)+(+)] for PCB149. The EF value was in the range of 0 to 1, with the racemate represented as 0.5.…”

“…In recent years, some achiral methods for the determination of etoxazole in fruits, vegetables, and dried hops have been published using HPLC with diode array detection or HPLC–MS/MS . Meanwhile, some chiral methods by HPLC–MS/MS for the enantioselective determination of pesticides in soil, water, fruits, and vegetables have been published for high selectivity, high sensitivity, and simple sample preparation . However, to the best of our knowledge, there is no report on the enantioselective analysis of etoxazole.…”
