“…Accordingly, a normally functioning pancreatic transplant should have an isotope histogram with a well-defined peak similar to that of the iliac artery, whereas a loss of the peak and a decreased uptake could indicate dysfunction. In previous reports clinical indications have been used for pancreatic demonstration using~cm-DTPA on sequential scintigrams (3,6,8).
