Simultaneous Determination of Estradiol and Medroxyprogesterone Acetate in Pharmaceutical Formulations by Second-Derivative Spectrophotometry

Abstract: This paper reports a simple and fast method for the simultaneous determination of estradiol (ED) and medroxyprogesterone acetate (MP) in pharmaceutical formulations by second-derivative spectrophotometry. Methanol was used to extract the drugs from formulations, and subsequently the extracts were evaluated directly by derivative spectrophotometry.
